The way I see it is if your stupid enough to buy a car that may be recalled you deserve to die. My parent got rid or all their Toyota's and replaced them with Hyundai's. I even bought a Ford Taurus. You know something safe and reliable.

@danielssss Not true we see too many Toyota getting in to wrecks.
my Corolla Has a brake recall I think all corollas made from 1998-2010.
And my Corolla has a faulty engine it will die and shut down while driving or idling. Does it every once in a while two weeks or so. It also is a 2009. My parents LS 430 did the same thing.

I had a Prius & totaled it cuz I used the emergency brake in the rain & didn't hear the tires skidding for a long time. ANYWAY, I had the 2005 model & when approaching a stop sign I hit a small 2 inch deep hole & I almost ran the limit line. I pressed the brakes on full power but it was not even close to "locking up". Manual brakes could stop in half the distance. Another time this car stopped for a jay-walker per a left turn & I jerked to the right to extended distance & the brakes dragged ass

Their vehicles still kick the shit out of everything else. Domestic brands have had more recalls in the last 5 years than Toyota had in their entire existence.
