Okay, I have a short mohawk, roughly about 3 inches long.. I don't really want the seam of where the dreads start to show.. What advice to you have for someone with real short hair like me..?? Thanks..!! :)

@THEROGUE333 3 inches of hair is long enough to attatch dreads, go for double ended dreads instead of single, they look a little more natural. I recently just made some dreads for a mate with a mohawk and I found if you make them reasonably thin they look better as u can get more in and when theres more in your hair your less likely to see the roots. Would you like me to upload a video with some pictures of my friends mohawk? plus it will look more natural it the dreads match ur hair colour

I have extreamly long hair, not quite waist length atm, and I hope to get it cut a little bit shorter some time soon but it will probably still be well below shoulder length. From experience, do you think I would be able to tie synthetic dreads in, or would I need to cut my hair shorter for them to lie/look right?

@YouAreMeMeIsYou your hair can be any length and they will still look okay it just means the braid will go further down the dread which sometimes can look quite effective and it wont effect how they lie either.

How many packs would you need for a full head, roughly?

@itsbenzombie that depends. if you make them thin you get about 6 to a pack so about 10 mine are thick so I made about 4 to a pack so used about 15-20 packs you want to aim for about 60 to 80 double ended dreads i have 60 on my head so 120 singles :) hope that answers your question
