Neeg lub Neej Part 1/10

Among one of the few hmong movies that I really like. ^_^

Summary: Tub Tuam & Nkauj Ntsum are very much in love and get married. A couple years past and they don't seem to be able to have children.

When they get tested, Nkauj Ntsum finds out that the problem is with her husband. But she doesn't want his feelings to get hurt and wants to find a better time to tell him. So she pretends that she's the reason they can't have kids.

Tub Tuam's mom and relatives convince him that he needs to find a new wife so they can have kids and keep their name going. Although he doesn't want to at first, after hearing that Nkauj Nstum can't have children, he agrees to look for another person.

Low and behold, he breaks Nkauj Ntsums heart and she leaves him behind. After shes gone, his new wife isnt all he expected her to be AND he finally finds out that hes the reason for their fertility problems. He tries to find Nkauj Ntsum again

@ksquarex........hey, you and me have the same memories here. We both seeing this movie back in Thailand, Phanat Nikhom Refugee Camp. I wish hmong american today made good and interesting movie like the old one during the late 80's and early 90's. During that period, Atary Xiong probably the only professional director and producer. My friend know his older son. Atary's wife is the one wearing the shining dark color dress that work at the club when TUB TUAM go looking for NKAUJ NTSUM.

Damn, this movie is so old now. So old but still very interesting. During 1992 or 1993, i forgot which year was it but I remember my mom, dad and older sister take me to go watch this movie at a thai theater when we still live in Phanat Nikhom Refugee Camp in Thailand. Anyone who also live in that camp during that time will remember seeing this movie also. I was 10 years old during that time. I also watch (VAJ YIM LEEJ) when it came out. I'm not sure if it release here first then over there.

I know some of you guys might not believe what i said here but it's okay. Those that live in the refugee camp during that time between 1992 and 1993 will remember and know what i said.

Don't get me wrong here, that thai theater are not like the one in the United States. As I remember, It just a normal size theater room estimated capacity around 30 to 40 people. I do not remember the admission cost because my sister was the one paying for it. Welp, now I'am glad to watch it here on youtube.

That thai theater not just play hmong movie, they have variety of movie playing also. But (VAJ YIM LEEJ) and (NEEG LUB NEEJ) which is this movie, are the only two I watch. By the way, Phanat Nikhom Refugee Camp is the last camp before you settle here in the United States. That camp is where your parents learn basic English, American culture, how to use United States currency, appliance, and some other things.

@totallymai tub tuam also played in "Neeg lub Neej 2" however i don't recall any movies that he played as a soldier besides Vaj Yim Leej.

Is tub tuam's real name Khoua Yang? He also star in other movies but i can't remember what its called...its the one where he's a soldier and then there's this other one where he had to married his aunt's daughter but mainly i want to see the one where he's the soldier...pls pls tell me the name of it i really want to watch it
