well Al Gore is over 60 and he invented the Internet. anyway I don't think this will happen. because there is always a way to get and spead info. China has a problem keeping it's control over it population. but I will say that it is the Corporates that are a problem they continue to make notes of what you buy where you click and then they direct advertisement to you brower..... this scarey! Agreed. Free speech was fine for America when the average person had no inexpensive means to reach large numbers of the population, but now that anyone can speak to the world, free speech is a threat to the government, and, therefore, must be regulated. So you're right, the people need to speak up and save our right to free speech on the internet! Good one.

Thanks for posting and yes when it came to history in high school the only thing I wanted to look for that was way back was the last row of the class room... But now wish i would have paid more attention...

Yes, also the government can regulate magazines/news and tv..but they cant regulate the truth being told on the internet. That scares them..they hope to charge enough (eventually) to hold people back from having such easy access. Get permits to trace whos saying it etc.

November is supposedly the end of some internet laws and theres a possibility that things will change from the way it is now.
