@sporkjsp i just asked him and it's the regular kit for the rsx-s. He just bought the type-rs bov and intercooler kit for it. He showed me the part # and its the same one that's on the website. I don't see two kits available for the type s.
-
@andrew1501 yeah im talking about stock exhaust etc etc, but most likely your friend doesnt have the street legal kit because the most ive seen out of street kits put out around 60-70hp over stock, but the tuner kit ive seen guys put up to 325
-
@sporkjsp oh btw not sure which kit he has, it does however have the intercooler with it.
-
@sporkjsp yeah thats exactly what we did. took it to house of boost and dyno'd. made 284 to the wheels. mind you i said he had an apex exhaust so it wasn't bone stock. it's a 2006 type s if that makes any difference, considering that the k20z1 made 210 hp to the crank compared to the k20a2
-
@andrew1501 does he have the street legal kit or does he have the performance?? big difference
all the guys ive talked to running greddy kits street legal kit will hit 250s, im talking base tune, straight out of the box from greddy slap on and dyno
-
@sporkjsp oh really? my friend's rsx @ 6 psi on a greddy turbo system made 284 whp with an apexi exhaust as the only other mod. he currently makes 332 whp and 287ft-lbs at 10.5 psi with k-pro
-
type s?
-
hey man did your check engine light come on when you installed your dc race headers??
-
rsx is cool and everything tell your parents nice 750 tho
I have the stock ECU but with K-Pro. When you get the S200, it should already be built into the program. You just tune it with your lab top.

The best way to launch is to feather the clutch at 5-6 RPM instead of dropping it, because if you drop it, you'll end up with too much tire spin. If you feather it you should have a great launch. I'm at the beginning of 4th at the 2nd of the 1/4.

Yes, its on a mild tune at 206 whp. I still managed to trap 102 mph on slow shifting and not even taking the car to redline.

Thanks, I have the Hondata K-Pro. I believe e S200 also offers a launch control option.
