  • The mic is an ADK Hamburg.

  • Thanks.

The amp had so many usable tones with the gazillion knobs!! Probably better suited for the studio with all the settings written down. Very versatile.

  • Don't have a tbr, but i have a late 80's version (rivera s-120) up on ebay right now... item number 300483224275

  • if anyone is intrested on getting thier hands on one of these PM me

  • @soybalm

Yeah, I know that now, I bought old Knucklehead one month ago, it sounds like that when it's at bedroom level volume(fizzy, bassy, just strange).

I'm using effects loop to attenuate, anyway it isn't my sound(clean is superb, but distortion is too complex for me, I like old 'plain' heavy marshall sound), but still it sounds much better than youtube samples (there is significant difference between real sound and youtube sound and it isn't compression/youtube fault IMO)

  • @wiory I actually get a much better tone out of mine. I run the loop off, master up hot and on 8-15 watts. Then it comes to life. If I run the wattage at 60 per side I have to go deaf to bring that to the appropriate level other wise they sound pretty stiff. At 8 or 15 (loud) watts per side, I can really nail a Fender and then use a pedal. If you pull the bass contour out on ch.1, it gives you more heavy, thick tones. Also I think the fellow has the pu compensator too hot. They weigh too much!

  • I wonder why all youtube movies with riveras sounds like shit. I mean in bad way. There is no tight, heavy, thick distortion, only some crunch which sounds unnatural to me.

    Anyway, Im getting old K55

  • If you want to hear what this amp sounds like "in the wild," check out Saigon Kick's first album, and Skid Row's "Slave to the Grind" album. The Saigon Kick album was recorded through Michael Wagener's magical Marshall 4x12 cabinet.

  • Please....can back TBR series....
