Arles

Arles on the River Rhône and it's surroundings were an inspiration for the painter Vincent Van Gogh, who arrived there in 1888, but it was here that his mental health deteriorated and at the end of that year came the infamous ear-severing incident.

I spent a very happy day there. Even with a good supply of tourists, I found it a charming place, well worth a visit if you are ever in the South of France.

Arles es una preciosidad. Esas callejuelas, esa plaza del Forum, y tantas otras zonas...Hay algunas partes de la ciudad que ,más qye pintorescas, son decadentes y venidas a menos, pero hasta eso le da un encanto especial. Un lugar para volver : )

Me lo pasé muy bien cuando estuve en Arles. Es una ciudad estudiantil con monumentos antiguos y un ambiente muy relajado. Preciosa.

J'habite à Arles, j'aime cette ville mais en voyant cette vidéo ça m'a plutôt donné envie de déménager.

sa fait 10 année que j'habite a Arles et je peut assurer que ce n'est pas un ville de jeune si vous voulez y aller pour votre retraite allez-y mais si vous etes lycéen etudiant ou jeune travailleur ne venez pas a Arles c'est ... comment dire ... litteralement Mortel (dans le sens ennuyant!)

C'est la que je veux vivre dans 10 ans. Je ne connais pas le sud de la france mais aimerais une retraite dans le sud.

Very, very good. There's an awful lot of old cobblers on Y-tube, but it's worth wading through the dross to find wee gems like this. Keep it up lad!
