We bought a brand new HP desktop from Office Depot. A month after setting the system up, it started shutting the monitor off and wouldn't come out of sleep mode. Initially we took it back to Office Depot but due to it being a hardware issue, we were instructed to contact HP. We did and tech support had us run through troubleshooting. The problem reoccurred so each time we called tech support, they had no record of our previous calls and would make us go through the whole process before the would move forward. At the end we were told that management would contact us. They never did. Eventually we got management that was in Canada. They sent us a box to ship the unit back but didn't include packing label. They had to send it to us. We shipped the unit off and got it back after they replaced the motherboard. The problem resurfaced. HP sent a tech to our house and he said the hard drive was corrupted. We called management and asked for the whole unit to be replaced. After the first manager refused, we asked for her manager. That manager refused and we were sent another box the ship the unit in. We got the unit back and the problem continues. DONT BUY HP COMPUTERS! They wont even take their own equipment back and can't fix their own computer problems!
The bottomline is they have been unsucessful at this point. The managers say that they can't justify replacing the unit, so where do we go from here?

It is April 29th and HP has still to respond. We called and gave them our case number and I even sent them an email to technical support. We sent the unit in first and they replaced the mother board. The problem occurred again when the unit was returned. A technician was sent to our house and he said the harddrive was corrupt. We sent the unit in again. The mother board was replaced yet again. The warranty states they will repair any hardware issue.
