Stingray City Grand Cayman

On this cruise excursion, we took a boat ride out to a sand bar called "Stingray City" off of Grand Cayman Island. We had the opportunity to get in the water with the wild stingrays and have an up close encounter with these gentle creatures. We were given squid to feed to the stingrays (Justin loved this and the stingrays would swarm around him since he always had a handful of food!). After swimming with the stingrays, we went snorkeling for a while before heading back to our ship, the Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas.

Great Video ! The first title is incorrect though. There is no such place as the Grand Cayman Islands . Grand Cayman ( Grand as in Large) is the Largest of the 3 Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman , Little Cayman and Cayman Brac ( Brac is Welsh Gaelic for Bluff) .

So you can be on Grand Cayman Island in the Cayman Islands but you can't in the Grand Cayman Islands !

Every time I go to the Caymans, have to spend part of the day with the Sting Rays. They are so much fun. This is the only place I would touch and play with them.

Was there, loved it, bought a Fuji XP underwater /regular camera, it worked great, Highly recommend a water camera if going here.
