U.S. Secretary of Homeland Defense performing the naturalization ceremony for Soldiers and Marines deployed to Afghanistan. Scenes include military leaders and the secretary speaking to the audience, Soldiers and Marines taking their oath of citizenship and receiving their official documentation from the secretary and the secretary and two new citizens talking to a military reporter about the significance of the event.

Gotta love people who love a country so much that even though they are not citizens of it, they are willing to serve in its military!! God bless em..

  • Hey Guys Im Egyptian .... I Want TO JOin U.S Army If ANy One Knows How CAn I MAke IT (Step By Step:D) Plz Tell ME "I Never Went TO USA And I'M 17 Years Old :)

  • Citizenship must be the product of coltural growth within an environment.

Do they fight for free or are they paid?

  • you hand up citizenship the same as money

    what about the cultural values?

the roman empire did the same during its last years, it started to give citizenship to everybody if they entered the army for a while

it is a sign of decadence

    regards

  • @videosukiasyan LOL there are no union in the military in there you do what your told and you keep your mouth shut, you work 8,12 ,15 hour shift's a day and still get paid the same amount of money every month.

  • Hahahaha, no the US Military doesnt have the type of Union your thinking of. They dont get to strike if they have a grievance, essencially all military personel are treated as US property in the type of issues you are refering to.

  • @grapista9812 Yes it is possible. Contact the US embassy in the philipines, they will explain the process and help you begin it. The filipinos have been fighting the Taliban for years, thx 4 the help!

  • are they paid to fight, or you just give them a passport?

do you have unions in the army that can guarantee not-exploitation?

  • I thought it said a us soldier becomes afghani citizen.

  • Remember, service guarantees citizenship.

  • @grapista9812

as long as you posses a greencard, then there would be no problem unless you have some character issue...
