Very interesting insight on how private security contractors work in Iraq. These are not mercenaries, as mercenaries are hired warriors. Private security contractors conduct defensive operations only.

Someone has to do this job... Those of you who have a nice warm shower, a hot meal, and your little cup of tea every night cannot say a word. Working in these areas they try to help, but you try to smile and be nice to someone intent on putting a bullet in your backside...

Why not just stores tons of rocket lauchers and just launch them on the roof over whatever gun fires are coming.. kill those fuckers.. who cares what they hit or who they are.

@fsoldatenum dude, they were being shot at and as for most soldiers they arent that stressed in reality during a simple firefight. Probably first action this guy got all year long. Ur statement is bull and proves nothing. PMC r always under strict scrutiny and will face prosecution if they act outside of their jobs. Countries and politicians hire these guys dude, allied countries. Most PMC make up navy seals and rangers that retire

@Skidracer21 Awesome man! Now read "Licensed to Kill" by Robert Young Pelton! Its from the view of a journalist but he talks about everything from the history of PMCs to current training programs and stuff.. I don't even like to read for fun but I couldn't put these books down

hahaha, such propaganda! If anyone has watched that video of blackwater "under siege" they all look very happy, one even exclaiming "this is a turkey shoot!" this is just over hyped propaganda, of which national geographic is a tool.
