well yeah of course they produce NOx and SOx, but almost all of it is removed by the catylitic converter. Whats the point of this video? The general public can't do anything to get rid of gasoline powered cars, everyone is forced to buy gasoline powered cars, and most people can't afford electric or natural gas powered cars... so this is pointless... you are just pointing out one problem the general public can't fix.

At least you're admitting that IC cars create NOx (Nitric acid). Now let's talk about SOx and HxCx...

CNG cars are still internal combustion engines so they still can produce NOx even though not as much, and the catalytic converter removes like 99% of the NOx!!!

That's exactly what I said, N2 is pretty much inert because the outside electron shell is filled. It's N0x and SOx that cause acid formation...and there's no catalyst that can scrub all the NOx out of exhaust, which is why CARB only gives silver credtis for CNG and HIC cars.

N2 is not a nitrogen oxide... and i have studied, all these studies are for decreased lung capacity, nowhere in the articles does it mention that Nitric acid is the cause... N2 does not combine with Oxygen in the air unless its under extreme heat such as a car engine or nuclear explosion, but in the case of cars, the catalytic converter turns nitrogen oxides into N2 and O2!!!!

and what feul would run those factories that make the solar panels? coal and fossil fuels. you can not escape the trap we have been put into.

I don't have to tell you: there's no free lunch! Procuring energy is dirty; the dirtiest is oil, next is coal. Sure we could run ALL our energy needs on solar power (yes, just solar, storing energy for night).

all right maybe your batteries use nickel, but most 12V use lead. they still contain H2SO4. as for me breathing NO2.... I don't huff it, i am exposed to larger amounts than most people, and i feel just fine. oh and one other thing.. what do you think fuels the plants that generated electricity for your nickel hydride batteries? mostly coal and fossil fuels.

You must be non-technical. There's N2 in the air, which is pretty much inert; why not think or study before you write such junk??

How little you know. NiMH batteries use Nickel, not Lead; of course, all batteries have chemicals, but compared to an oil refinery or drilling spoils they are benign. I'd say breathing NO2 or SO3 would mean you were dead.
