  • Hey coach, is there any benefit of doing wide grip pulldowns instead of the shoulder width grip ones. Dont you work your back through full range of motion if you do shoulder width grip pulldowns? How about keeping your elbows in?

  • Well i see it as a combination of mechanical dropsets and regular drop sets. The purpose is extending the set to accumulate more metabolic fatiuge in the muscles tht are worked. I hae also personlly and with my client seen better contact/burn/feel of the lats when combining movements over simply doing straight dropsets. I believe that it has some importance in muscle building, expecially of more growth resistant areas.
