words and meanings change over time and from individual to town/city and even country. where i come from i greet my friends with, 'what up cunt', or i refer to a friend as 'a good cunt', terms of endearment. however, if i refer to someone as a 'fat cunt' it is intended as a humorous insult to a friend, but can be used as a genuine insult to someone who i want to stab in the face.
