Dionne's Advanced Mobility DVD .

Mr. Dionne is creator and author of the book: Among Giants: Courageous Stories of those who are Obese and those who care for them, Dionne's Egress Test, The Advanced Mobility DVD Set, The Bariatric Safety Kit, the Transfer Matrix and created many manual techniques that are changing the way professionals learn and teach therapeutic movement. Michael Dionne has written extensively about predictive mobility patterns based upon mass distribution and techniques to assist the Patient of Size. He has lectured throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and North America; presenting at many national and international conferences on safe patient handling, body mechanics and the many manual handling techniques presented here.

Currently, Mr. Dionne performs in-house Safe Patient Handling programs at Medical Facilities and Hospitals upon request. He trains as many as 300 employees in No Lift skills and guarding techniques in a single day of presentation

The purpose of this video is to preserve techniques created by Michael Dionne and to standardize language in a "Best Practice" model for manual handling techniques. These manual techniques are of great value for those who work with patients in rehabilitation, therapy, nursing, home care and emergency teams. Mr. Dionne is an advocate for mechanical intervention, however, retains the right to exercise "Therapeutic Movement" for those who have licensure in the world of mobility.
