@richierich67587 This piece was actually written by Tony Banks :) It's usually Banks who comes up with the instrumentals.

@MENinMEXICAN Side 2 is weak, but not side 1 imo.

This song and "Feeding The Fire", two B-Sides from the Invisible Touch sessions, are much better than anything on that album. It's a shame that Genesis didn't make a whole album of the quality of those two tracks rather than most of the material on that weak album.

it doesnt sound like mike rutherford on this. i know it is but this style of playing is unusual for him

Just makes you wonder what other great Genesis stuff there is that never really saw the light of day.

I've got that tune on the Genesis Archive #2 Set. It's amazing!
-
Every bit as good as "The Brazillian".

WHY? WHY? THIS SONG IS 1'000.000. times better than "Invisible Touch" itself.....Or at least doesn't sound like N'Sync...

I do admit I would have liked to have this on Invisible Touch, my favorite part is 2:28 because it just dives in to the somewhat climactic state. Man Invisible Touch is such a great album

i would have put this one, feeding the fire, i'd rather be you on invisible touch coz theres only 8 songs on the album!
To me, this is their best instrumental song. Absolutely brilliant. It's a shame it wasn't included on the IT album.
