Heavy rain caused the River Anker to burst its banks flooding Shuttington Road in Tamworth. Drivers filmed driving through flood water deeper than they were expecting!

  • Shuttington Lane flooded 3 times in 2007, we were down there during the worst one in July, the water was nearly 3ft deep there, no cars could get through

  • Yep I was there in July. Pulled lots of cars out and broke my Suzuki Grand Vitara wading through it, water went up to the door handles!

  • Finally! Some music with style :) Great video!

  • @wootness3000 the filter should block most of the water... and if its a little water shouldnt do much.. but going through water like that with hot brakes.. that will mess your car up good..

  • Well, those cars wont be running for long, it's called hydrolocking... when water gets into a cylinder it can't be compressed, then you get bent valves and thrown rods... yikes.

  • Does anyone else get the audio disabled message?
