u have to agree that mamba is slender thin as well as small compared to king kobra . i m not an expert on venom but since both hae neurotoxic venom and if they r immune to their own kind of venom the kobra would easily overpower it(atleast cobras r immune to certain kindes venoms since they mainly eat other snakes far more v enomous than mamba

@dantesprophet can u provide me with some proof?

@phpg92 actually as of now the only snake to have killed an elephant and had it scientifically proven was a black mamba. Course if i recall correctly said mamba was a particularly large and powerful beast.

King kobra's venom may nt be potent drop for drop like those of tipan n kraits but they can compensate it with the volume of venom.they can eject the highest volume of venom than any other serpent.that's y they r the only snakes on the planet whose bite can kill animal as large as an elephant

King Cobra is the largest venomous snake in the world, not black mamba ..

it might be true that the BM has a powerful venom than a KC, but what KC doesnt have with venompower, it has huge amount of venom to spread out per bite. Since the KC has a speacial blood which makes it pretty much immune to most other venom's, not to mention how big they are (4-5 meters)=> i guess about 12feet, the KC would definitely swallow the BM

@Reigh38 There is no definite static available on how long Black Mambas can grow. One can research the subject and get stuck with somewhere around15 feet but people from Africa wrote me that they had encountered black mambas twenty feet long(?).
