You cant just shift a prius into nuetral! Some people have claimed he was also pushing on the gas pedal. you can do that and push the brake pedal and emergency brake at same time. Venus he didnt say that at all he said I cannot hold the phone and didnt want to go over to side. Get it right if your going to make a comment. As for him loving toyotas. you can keep them. I wouldnt own ANY of them! toyota has done nothing but treat this badly. Not wanting a fix but just claiming they didnt do it. SAD

the famed prius news drive was deamed fake. the guy was broke and was going to loose his car and his house. how many problems have happend. almost 1 millions prius have been sold since 2000. and toyota sells about 8 million cars a year. so realistically 80 million cars have been sold and how many unintended accelerations.another thing this car has 110 hp. its been tested slamming the breaks will stop the car. even a 540 roush mustang with a pinned accelerator can be brought to a stop.

So let me get this straight? He can reach down & pull on the accelerator but he can't pop it into NEUTRAL??? Hmmmmmmm Yeah! I know the Toyota accelerators have been sticking but I'm not buying this guy's story for some reason. It just doesn't set right. The 911 operator asked him if he had tried to shift it into neutral. He snapped back "I'm TRYING TO CONTROL THE CAR!" SAY WHAT?! It doesn't make any sense. 15 minutes, anyone?
