Mpereza Engabo Yange (Send Me the Shield) by Real Doctors

(MPEREZA ENGABO YANGE SONG TITLE) This song is a cultural song and is written in Luganda language from Africa continent from a country called Uganda. It talks about Buganda people why they sleep yet those who fight them don't sleep and then talks about a shield and a spear these were used long ago in Africa for protecting people and their countries. At this moment its used to call upon a woman to come up and give ia spear and a shield to her husband and the husband has to go and fight for his kingdom Buganda and to protect culture. It also talks to different things like land of Buganda which had been taken by the politicians and those who have money, talks about how people of long ago used to stay in Buganda without discriminating the foreigners but what came out was these foreigners to take over, also talks about people whom we bring near us and later they change their behaviour and for get how they have been. this song was composed according to the situation in which Buganda kingdom is in and other Kingdom has to learn from what is in Buganda and prepare themselves after learning from their neigbhour Buganda. Also this shows the respect people give to the king of Buganda and the culture. It was composed by a member of Real Doctors who is nick named as Moto Man(Kasirye Ahmed) a son of late Sulaiman Kabembula Kasirye and Late Hariet Nakawungu. He dedicates this song to all those who like their kingdoms and their countries to work. This song was sang by three people and all are in Real Doctors' group and these were; Ssonko Isma, Henry Ranks and Moto Man.
