Bet it sounds loud; or as loud as runnin' a chain saw and hydraulic splitter at the same time :P. Been looking around on Youtube at new machines for making firewood, this is by far the best little system I've seen. Lots of them seem to want to get complicated, like mounting a spinning spike to a bobcat ((that's a lot of fuel to split firewood)). Where this cuts and splits all in one go, AND loads it into onto a skid to forklift it to where you want to pile it all to dry.

I got this one and it works great.30 cm is the max diameter on the wood.
