Will plays Over The Waterfall on the whistle. I believe this is a fiddle tune from the Appalachian Mountain region of North America. The tempo is considerably slower than what many fiddlers play it, but I think it gives it a nice quality.

  • That is a very high complement. Thank YOU.

  • Yes please. What is the make of the whistle. It sounds beautiful.I bought one on the Irish Ferry and it's actually not bad! But it sure doesn't sound like Will!

  • We appreciate your watching and the lovely complement! :-) The whistle is a Dixon soprano D.

The room where this was taped was fairly large without much in the way of sound absorbing materials. This resulted in a bit of an echo.

  • that was gorgeous and pure.

  • Very high praise. Thanks!

  • Lovely! Thanks for sharing.

  • doesnt it sound gorgeous, great playing my man

  • Very nice! I like your version - so many play this at break-neck speed. Youir version sounds much more in keeping with the colonial period.

  • That was fantastic playing! I wish I could get that kind of sound from my $10 whistle. Somehow I don't think I can blame the whistle. Great playing.
