Eating ice cubes burns calories. In my high school chemistry class we did some calculations and found out about how many calories are burned per ice cube due to the body needing to make up for the heat lost from the ice cube cooling. At least that's how I think it went. We also learned that when you eat celery you lose weight because it's mostly water.
