I dont know who is this Milahi1935, but i know that Talat Mehmood sahab was very much critical of Rafi Sahab.I have great respect for Rafi sahab but he committed blunders in pronunciation of urdu in several songs & private Ghazals (listen to Zikr us pari vash ka---A ghazal by ghalib & sung by Rafi Sahab) He had punjabi tone to his voice . I also dont know much about octave and all these terms but i know that of all singer Mehdi hassan sahab had correct urdu & real pain. Dr.M.S.Qazi NAGPUR IND

yaar you melted my heart. My dad used to hang around the same studio in karachi and was sometimes mistaken for Mohammed Ali...looking at this vid brought tears to my eyes cause this is exactly how my late father used to look then. Thanx 4da memories and this wonderful song....Whats happened to us (Pakistan) now.
