About 16 inches of snow fell during the week previous to 10-31-11, including just over 10 inches from the early season Halloween Nor'Easter. This snow, coupled with some moderate winds put enough snow in the East Snowfields for observer Brian Clark to take the first turns of the ski season there...about 200 vertical feet of continuous skiing.
