I never completed this game because I didn't care much for the game. The battle system is awesome, but I didn't really like the characters in the game. However, this game probably has the best soundtrack out of any game I've ever played. Every area of this game is just one awesome tune after another.

@LuminityBand A PS3 is only like two hundred quid; more importantly, you could plop down a hundred for a PSP instead and play this game on the go.

@ashflashusa You should definitely play this game, just make sure you're not looking for Chrono Trigger 2. This game is very different from Chrono Trigger, but still amazing.

@GoldenPubes I can see where you are coming from. The problem is though is that when developers make a follow up to a game as big of a hit as CT then they really can't win. If they stray too far from the original like perhaps CC than the fans moan it is too different, but if they make it too similar it gets classed as being the same old lazy shit. I thought the tie in to CT was very well handled, it didn't go overboard with it but it also didn't announce it was a direct sequel.

Yasunoria Mitsuda at his finest. He's done a lot of amazing soundtracks, like Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, and Xenosaga Episode I, but this is definitely his finest work yet.
