GOUVEIA ART ROCK 2010 on RTP-N TV (2)

Gouveia Art Rock 2010's first day had to deal with the unexpected cancellations of two of the main artists in the lineup: Mats & Morgan (Sweden) and After Crying (Hungary). The festival had to make an urgent call to old friends Kotebel, who had played at the 2007 edition and made a late trip from Madrid (Spain) to join us.
Also schedules changed but that was it: the festival went on, against the dark forces of the volcanic ash cloud that were, by the time, shutting off almost every airport in Europe, causing an unprecedented disruption.

O primeiro dia do Gouveia Art Rock 2010 teve de enfrentar a inesperada notícia do cancelamento de duas das principais bandas do alinhamento: os Mats & Morgan (Suécia) e os After Crying (Hungria). A organização viu-se forçada a fazer uma chamada urgente aos velhos conhecidos Kotebel, banda espanhola que havia tocado na edição de 2007 e se fez à estrada de Madrid, para se juntar ao rearranjado alinhamento do festival.
Houve, por isso, necessidade de alterar também os horários e o próprio alinhamento, mas não passou disso: o festival fez-se, contra a cinza negra do vulcão islandês que, na altura, estava a provocar o encerramento de quase todos os aeroportos europeus.
