  • whats a lusitanos temperment like? my friend has a couple and all but one are complete angels :P

  • They are very people oriented...once you own either a Lusitano or Andalusian... you'll never want any other breed - they're dream horses!!!!!

  • @ShelleySGiacomini i could imagine that! they are very beautiful and rare...

thanks :) my mother is thinking of buying me a horse...but i doubt a lusitano would be right for me. they look like they deserve a very advanced rider

  • Actually, their character enables them to go easy with even a child riding!! It's not unusual to see children riding stallions!! Check out the 3 year olds called

Zidane and Zafer on my channel page (several videos).... on shelleysgiacomini

  • you have my dream job!!!

  • @kikiza123 lusitano a portuguese breed used alot in bullfighting in portugal, they are friendly active agile gentle and very inteligent its the equivalente of the border collies in a horse, my grandad used to have one when i was still in portugal and it was a dream young mare he broke her himself sat on her once she didnt even jump

the odd one will have his issues like anything but i certanly reccomend a pure breed lusitano as they are the best horse you will ever have PORTUGUESE AND PROUD

  • @ShelleySGiacomini thank you i will!
