You missed it bill. it's not alabama. Barney Frank was elected the U.S. Representative for Massachusetts's 4th congressional district since January 1981. If that isn't a clear winner for low life state than nothing is.

@LithiumXwolf I mean you have to understand why one would think things about AL as well as states like MS, SC., etc. Its your politicians and some of the rural people there who have these beliefs that are way off base and nonfactual. It's unfortunate but its true. You need to get at your politicians and tell them to stop coming up with dumbs bills they draw up etc. Not everybody in Alabama is dumb but the politicians there are just way to right winged to the point facts do not get through.

I think these comments are more of a hate war than a discussion. Both liberals and conservatives have their arguments and each side has idiotic extremists, a /common target/ of satire, I might add. If you think everyone is like them, you need a reality check. Not all poor chose to be poor, not all rich inherited wealth. Home life and education can affect where you end up, but effort is still key. When you see both sides, anger vanishes. The "stupidest state" is the one that teaches one-sidedly.

@LithiumXwolf -- struggling to break through the oppressive stereotypes and religious persecutions from both the rest of our world and our fellow Alabamians. I hate the fact that even though we're struggling so much and fighting back with all our might, you all still don't hear and see us.
