Flyer,RcTestFlight.. -
@jaldek41 he is kinda ignoring every body's recommendation for improvement and continue doing his thing...

i like planes with symetrical airfoil like my Sbach 342, is the symetrical kf good for aerobatics like flying inverted?
-
Its all about old "Reynolds number" which basicly defines what kind of airfoil you could/ shouls use. This "Reynolds number" tales why butterflies wings, small Rc-plane and large Jet plane has different aifoils. So why you don't use it on your prop? basicly its foil is too short and its not good think to try create turbulence and same time drag without creating additional lift. vertical stab has normally only small angle of attack, there for KF creates only drag not lift.

OH FIRST COMMENT OF 2012 YEAH!!!

how many videos do we need about the fricking kf airfoils?? We get it they are good... jeez
-
Hey dave what happened to the old times flying planes reviews tips testing random funny experiments and now picture slide shows and what happened to Kieth ya know that one guy from back in the day bring him back cause your videos have gone to shit
-
if the KF is so good... should i put it on the vertical stab?....& why don't they have them on the prop? like a #1 or something?
You are dead on about the shock absorber effect. My KF leading edges are rounded, like a traditional airfoil, not beveled. On my F-18v2 (KFm4) the wing is sanded/rounded all the way to within 1/2 inch of the step.
I use them for the simple reason that they work. Well.

@nishbrown Right on man. Getting a good system down on making these is so key. They just work so well.
