You don't need a permit to practice your First Amendment Rights (Freedom of Religion, Press, Speech, Assemble, ect.)

Gun control hurts me, the law abiding, tax paying, American citizen. Criminals DO NOT CARE ABOUT GUN LAWS. Any laws that involve restrictions on firearms, DOES NOT APPLY TO PEOPLE THAT DON'T FOLLOW THE LAW. And since I follow the law, no matter how stupid I think it might be, I bear the consequences on your gun control laws. Remember, if guns kill people, then pencils misspell words.

Criminals are individuals that have decided to break the law.
Idiocies, I mean governments, have decided to go after the TOOLS used for law-breaking. The tools are the same ones used for self-defense. So idiocies have banned the law-abiding from having them or using them for defense?
Criminals have already made the decision to break the law. They're already there mentally.
Why on Earth would anybody think that criminals will have a problem breaking the law in order to break the law?

What needs to banned are toy guns. A toy gun gives a child the idea that a gun is something to play with. If you truly want to prevent kids from getting a hold of guns, then have your unionized teachers preach against the toy gun and how a gun is a tool for defense only.
Idiotic laws in which criminals can sue home defenders for use of firearms encourage more crime. The criminals believe they have it all lined up for them. And they openly laugh at gun control laws.

Momsagainstguns, I went to you site to see what you have to say. While your motives may be pure, you have no idea what you are doing. Can you even define assualt weapon? There ain't no such critter. An assualt rifle is selectable fire (single shot or full auto) and are all ready controled very tightly. You're just another gun grabber who wants to disarm everyone because YOU are afraid of a machine. Look at the UK, they banned all guns and crime went through the ceiling!

Being able to track the guns will help the problem, too. The law about having to report lost or stolen guns, which is being considered right now in the state capitol, will help police recover guns typically used in crimes. But people need to email and call their state Reps to make them pass the bill.

Marcus: This is NOT about disarming the lawful. Gun traffickers (without a criminal record) can now "legally" buy several handguns in a single purchase. They then sell the handguns to someone who could not otherwise get it (someone with a criminal record or too young). Limiting these traffickers to one handgun per month greatly decreases the amount of guns they can sell in the street. This is one thing we CAN do to save lives. And, what could be more american than that. Thanks for your comments.
