Nvidia Tablets / Slates at CES 2010

Nvidia reveals some more Tablets at CES 2010. Why do they all have to look like large iPhones?

This video reminded me that iPad will only allow video at it's worst resolution. I think Apple is running a for profit experiment to see what people will shell out money for.

*no USB ports

*no changable battery

*no external HD video

*no multitasking

the onlly reason the ipad will sell is because its apple. apple could sell condoms to priests because they have the best advertising campaigns. they will convince you into buying something you think you need, then you will shape your life around it just so you can use their product. its nothing to do with experience, its all advertising, there are much better mp3/dukebox on the market but ppl wont buy it just because it aint apple, and it aint what their friends own.

Ummm... I've read the most recent comments, many of which seem to be talking about this device either copying the iPad or why the iPad started the market. If you look at the date of this video, it was taken January 2010 - during the CES at the start of 2010. That is BEFORE the announcement of the Apple iPad. So... it was out before the iPad even existed.

Will everyone stop talking about apple being this or apple being that! Apple, is Apple, In my opinion, it's awful. because I don't fall for their stupid advertising, I ahven't bought one. Apple are on their 4th iPhone and still haven't got a clue what they're doing.

I am contemplating buying a Dell Streak which will be my 'Everything' device. A phone, an mp3 player, a mobile games console, a video player, a web browser etc etc. It's something that Apple brings out, then everone elses improves!

@khashy87 Copying Apple? We've had Tablet PC's for years, and HP made a slate before Apple even began. They decided against selling it because the market wasn't ready. Apple seems to define the market nowadays, so they get all the credit.

@modemmack Yeah, at this point they don't need to offer quality products anymore. People will purchase anything that's shiny and made by Apple. It's pretty much the same thing that happened to Microsoft when they held the entire market without competition. Their products became sloppy.

Apple is selling not because of its specs but on the target on ignorant people who doesnt know what they buying. These people rely on word of mouth but fail to know whats its made of. They dont care what HD video is resolution. As long apple store supplies everything that work on their products. Its okay
