Anyone who has not been in Peter Garrett's position the one he is now, would find it difficlut to understand the demands someone of that position gets he has to please a lot of people and what he did in midnight oil and now is not really that different.

One of the greatest bands. Saw them a Jones Beach one year, awesome show. Garrett is an awesome presence.

Guys guys guys. Screw the politics and what Peter Garrett does now. When I first saw the Oils I was living in Germany. I'm from Canada but we were stationed overseas and a friend had gotten a tape of videos and on it was the Oils playing Best of Both Worlds. I was hooked. They had raw energy, sound, passion and Peters stage presence was great. I must have watched that clip 100 times over. One of Australia's greatest exports!

let me just say this. politics isnt for the weak and peter garrett is not weak. he is a good poli but a fuckin awesome singer. i respect anyone who can be both
