This is not Lara's genre, but we should give her credit for doing it. A true artist will take any song and make it their own. She has an amazing voice, but it is too thin for classical. Then, I have heard classical singers do pop and that was not a good experience, but they tried, also. I am sure that if Lara was asked about this she, too, would criticize herself, but she did it and by doing so she may have encouraged some of her fans to listen to some classical voices for the first time.
