Ah so it's supposed to have that checked pattern at startup?! I always thought mine was broken...

Some 145 show that pattern at startup, some not, but nothing to worry about ... It' strange but the powrbook work ...

I've got the same PowerBook, but its hard drive died about a year ago :-(

And my hard drive is about to crash is has often a strange noise "clak" :-( but for the moment it's working

Wow, one of my favorite games! I have played it many times on my 386 - in color but with worse sound (PC speaker)... And - yes, I still keep that old computer too. :-)

BTW, you should get a tripod stand for your camera.

i've played too on PC but a 486, and yes the PC speaker sound it's horrible, but it's an very good game

that was my first PB ever, the 145B, it even came with a modem and fax software. My parents had bought me an IBM 486sx 25 I think and I remember going back to the store within a week to return the whole system to trade it in for one the Powerbook. I waited a whole month to get it, it was freaking awesome, I've been a Mac fan ever since!! I collect those nowadays. Long live Apple, fuck the posers!!
