i beleave (dont quote me on this) that spyderco's warrenty will cover rust on blades like this. spydercos suport has been good to me (an not heard once a complain about it from a source that i deem trustworthy). I know it is a long time back now, but would be fun to see how spyderco reacts to a rusted Tasman.

@Feanic It doesn't matter where a product is from, however it does matter about the quality. There are shit products in China, but that's what you will pay for for 6 bucks. Fork up over at least 20, then you'll see the difference. There are bad products EVERYWHERE, you just don't realize.

What do you expect? It's quality from China...

lol casually watching this then you hear "look at that, a bunch of 1 legged pigeons" LMFAo
pretty bad when on a blade type "h1" who's grand claim is to NEVER rust that right on the h1 emblem you do get rust!..dont know if this thing's worth the dough..

@tasteegold7772 - in Spyderco's defense, the tiny spots of rust that do form are easily removable. From a practical standpoint imo, H1 delivers.

Does having rust on a blade signal a deathflag for knives/tools? (besides being poisonous or something)

@Pimpzilla300 - I've had knives get some rust before and it's easy enough to polish off. Like anything else though, it can become a nuisance if you are constantly in a high moisture environment, or work around corrosive type substances.
