How much control do we have over our lives? If fate exists, how do we learn to read its signs? And what of love? Do we have any choice in the matter? Sólo Dios sabe is a beautifully epic love story. As Bolado did in his first feature, the award-winning Under California: The Limit of Time (SFIFF, 1999), he uses the road trip as a metaphor for spiritual transformation and demonstrates a vivid sense of the natural world. Bolado, who was nominated for an Oscar for "Promises, was an editor of such films as Amores Perros (2000) and Like Water for Chocolate (1992), and serves once again in that capacity here. His editing rhythms are as accurate as his director's eye. With radiant, emotionally intense performances by Diego Luna (Y tu mama también) and Alice Braga, and music by Brazilian electronic Otto and Mexican alternative rocker Julieta Venegas, Carlos Bolado gives us a sensuous, heightened journey between Mexico and Brazil that traverses geographical boundaries.

Les contare que estuvimos con Carlos Bolado en el Festival Latinboamericano Caverna de benavides, de Lebu, VIII region de Chile, donde nos comentó los
entretelones de la filmacion. Fue muy enbtretenido y él es un gran cineasta. El siempre ve esta pagina, por si quieren decirle ago.

yo tambien he andado buscando el soundtrack, e incluso la pelicula parece que nunca la van a sacar, en mexico ya es encontrada en dvd, pero sigo en busca del cd. si saben de algo dejenme saber.
