If JW's spent as much time learning greek and hebrew as they do walking the streets, then they may get upskilled and learn the truth about how the scriptures have been perverted by the watchtower

I heard Jehovah's Witnesses do not go to college because they think it would be a waste of time with the world coming to an end. If this is true, do you think the Watchtower tells them this in order so that they do not learn Old Testament Hebrew or New Testament Greek in college?

Personally I believe Christ was Reserected, but the best comment on the Resorection I have heard came from a Skeptic. He said; 'the events after the Crucifiction of Christ present a real challenge to any Skeptic. What happened to Christ's body? to say he was not dead, or the body stolen, or any other explanation than the Gospels is difficult to accept. Where could a body be hidden in a small town? How could the badly injured Jesus, a walking fraud, inspire his deciples?'

@Getoofmycloud - It is easier said than done my friend. If this was only a matter of just leaving a religion or discarding a set of beliefs, then, yes fringist is right. But if you listen to what every ex-JW goes thru after they leave or are disfellowshipped. There is alot of hurt in being forced to acccept the FACT that your own family and friends CAN'T have anything to do with you any longer after so many long years, is a terrible thing to have to live with. People DO NEED to feel that love.

@fringist ,you are so right there,these people who leave or get told to leave,should jus leave it at that,WHY on earth do they have to try and pull the JWs apart, it just shows that they would go back readilly,yes what a great comparrison to a woman scorned,i say a Jehovahs witness apostate is much,much worse.

I have read the scriptures extensively and I know watchtower dogma.

* I advise you to read Isiah 9:6, that is one of the only passages that remains unmutilated by the watchtower org. in their "NWT" version of the Bible that testifies to the existence of God as holy trinity.

*Further you will find that YHWH is the correct name not Jehovah.

*Romans used crucifiction on Jesus (see Josephus)
