g35 twin turbo g35 tt run 0 - 100 mph

My first run with the twin turbo g35 during decent weather out here. Massive wheel slippage...had to feather the gas through first and second but finally grabbed in 3rd.

not a good idea to turbo your G if you can't have it break down. Doesn't matter, built or not it will probably break.

@ibro314 You should definitely rebuild the engine. I looked everywhere for a G35 with a manual transmission, but I couldn't find one. You have what some consider a "dream car." Like I said, that G35 is pretty hard to find when you're looking to buy one. You've got something special, so keep it.

@ironkid92jd why should I rebuild it? 3 years later it's still running strong. if I want to upgrade the turbos to something bigger then yea maybe rebuild is in order.

Hey bro i have a a question. Are you running this turbo setup on stock block? no forged internals? Im asking because i want to turbo my 2004 g35 coupe non rev up and i dont want my car to break down

@ranmas2004 you can take off the tbs or whatever its called... but if the car doesnt stop you from slipping you could crash your car from sliding to much... i would only turn it off on dry days...

Is there anything you can do to control the wheel slippage or is it just THAT much torque when boost kicks in that you can't? I agree that you don't need engine built. If you not launching and driving like a retard then you'll be fine. Tune is key.

lol agreed on the driving like an idiot part. My buddy runs a Eclipse GSX with stock internals on 26 pounds. But he runs stock exhaust to a Y pipe before cat and resonator. Servo based electronic butterfly valve blocking the other half of the Y. Open's the Y, when having fun. Leaves it closed when driving normal. Stock exhaust allows for about 6~10 pounds depending upon how he drives. And its not like he launches at 20 pounds with antilag. Daily driver + rolling start fun. Its a good time.
