Queen Rania of Jordan speaks at the 2007 Skoll World Forum. She starts by talking about her husband's love for Star Trek, then talks about social entrepreneurism, and the growing partnerships of private and public sectors. "Our post global society is not prospering," she says. "It's poverty stricken with a new kind of poverty. It's plagued with multicultural knowledge, a poverty of multicultural tolerance, a poverty of multicultural respect. As a Muslim, as an Arab, as a mother, I am alarmed at the way in which the Muslim world and our Western counterparts are looking at each other with suspicion, fear, and prejudice -- and turning away."
