Cecil looked at the icons sitting in his Subscriptions box. They dangled there like coathangers in rows holding today's assortment of up loaded personal apparel. Robes of self indulgent ponderings; multi coloured random patch-worked silliness; thin veils of personal mementos; naked skins of bared souls; gaudy sequined smocks pleading attention and recognition; heavy dark sombre cloaks of bafflement; clinging demented rambling tatters. He wondered which he might pull down for a closer inspection.

That's very good indeed, but you haven't really used coathangers as a metaphor so much as the coats themselves.

It does not surprise me one iota that your online persona's Christian name is Cecil.

Yeah Well; really they're not a metaphor for anything, but at least I did figure out what is a metaphor.

There are not enough Cecils in this world. Who names their baby Cecil anymore?

When something entirely new is presented to me I'm usually inclined to do some rudimentary research. However, there's something about combination of the words 'Coffin' and 'Liquor' that screams at me "DON'T GO THERE".

Hmmm. Thanks! There are lots of Obama Conspiracy videos out there, and I tried debating with one of the fellows who did one once but gave up when it became clear he was crazy.

Conspiracy theory about Obama strikes me as perfectly in line with conspiracy theory about Bush or Clinton or 9/11 or anything else: the theorists will decide that this new thing needs to fit into their kooky framework, and they'll work backwards, utterly unscientifically, to make it so.

Drat you made me look. I think the enticement of following a Cecil was the clincher; even though he turns out to be fictional.

The subject wasn't as bad as I feared. I'm all for recycling the dead. If our bits can't be sown into the living then fertilizer seems the next best option. Perhaps coffin liquor is the perfect medium for such.

You must surely be correct that it is non sexual. The range of human sexuality appears broad but I refuse to believe anyone could be aroused over such a matter.
