@KatayokoNoTenshi It's based off of the Bach/Gounod Ave Maria. Which is usually for harp and soprano. It uses Bach's Prelude in C as the accompaniment and Gounot's own melody. There are plenty of other arrangements (eg Violin and Piano, Soprano and Piano), but all of them have the same basic idea.

"Charles Gounod: Ave Maria (piano solo)"?
Then it's nothing to do with Gounod, is it? Why call it that rather than Prelude no 1 in C or whathaveyou? Or did Gounod alter the piano section?
Nevertheless, well played.

this is not ave maria
this is prelude by j.s. bach

*ahem*, this is infact the praeludium 1 by bach which then had ave maria written over the top. just so everyone knows that only the high octave notes are written by charles gounod
