ok guyes im a newb at pokemon and i got pokemon platnum on my DSi and i want a gastly egg i have 2 glaslys a male and female and i want them to lay an egg so how do i do it?? please help i love gastly and haunter and my location in the games is the exact same place where this video is at i want gastly egg cuz it can learn hipnosis which is one of the best gastly move my gastlys are both lvl 18 plz help i realy want gastly

Alright man, the thing is, you need to go to the Move Tutor and get your male Gastly to learn Hypnosis. Then you breed them, and you should recieve one with Hypnosis.

@Dragoonpyromantic Natures have nothing to do with breeding compatibility. They must be in the same egg group in order to be able to produce an egg. Also, the only legendary pokemon that can breed are Manaphy and Phione, Victini will never produce an egg, even with ditto.

@yourlilemogirl it's either Trace or Synchronize, i can't remember.

i remember someone doing something similar to this but instead of counting, they had a Ralts (i think it has to have Trace) in the same spot as the egg in the next box, and when they switched over at the right moment, the bottom left text box would cycle through the egg's info as if it was a normal pokemon, instead of just quickly flashing like in this vid.

but that's just what i remember.
