Superb tone, and considering that there are no covers nor hand effects, quite amazing. Apparently other players do what they can, and Chris does what he wants :)

I make the backing tracks in Band in a Box or I use Jamey Aebersold tracks.

I stopped listening to other harmonica players about 15 years ago. I'm not saying I NEVER listen to them but I don't sit down and try to learn what they are doing.
I spend lots of time listening to strings, sax, flutes, guitar and bassists.
