damn so good, music is just a link to transcendantal life, state of mind...

Wish more of their live gigs were filmed and recorded, (Green/Kirwan). Nothing beats seeing and hearing a live gig though. It's hard to keep the memory fresh but recorded film and sound help. Don't think they will be easily forgotten in history, they were too good. Lucky person below, I was just a little kid.

I saw them in Miami at the University soccer stadium in '70 (or'71?). I had to endure their opening act of a new band called "Black Sabbath" of all people. The whole thing was very...uhh memorable.?? Fingers in the ear for an hour then this stuff drifting over me for another hour and a half. Will never forget it.!! T A

@itsnotinthisbox Yes, thanx for your comments. The band went through several phases even with PG (who is still playing gigs in UK with the Splinter Group). Also in April-May '70 they were in Stockholm, Chalk Farm UK, Boston USA AND Munich, so the pressures of Touring must have been Immense. On other PGFM vids you will find 2 Names from the "Kommune 1" in Munich, Named & Shamed. They had a monster Jam session with PG but the others didn't either stay or attend.Green Manalishi seems to be the Last

@itsnotinthisbox No, it is generally believed to be Munich, probably a month or so after this, and also that it wasn't necessarily Voluntary. Also, although Mick Fleetwood and others were there, and I was not, I wouldn't necessarily believe everything they say, as they are plainly (now) Breadheads, and I also believe they left him there and weren't a party to whatever went on. And Yes, I'm sick of seeing comments like"Drugs ruin your life" especially from people who don't do drugs!.A Nice Geezer

He is not a GOD he is inspired by GOD,the benevolent and merciful who guided him to play like this,a masterpiece in the same league as his apostle and Supernatural.

Early Fleetwood Mac records changed my listening tastes completely and for good. Though I faithfully searched out all their subsequent vinyl, nothing compared to when Green and Kirwan were fronting the band. SO many guitarists who followed have a need to pay homage to their work.
