I have to admit, this has given me a deeper respect for David Icke, than for Greer and Self.(I don't count the Professor, he was right and intelligent, but I think he thought he was having the piss taken. (Translated from the original by an American into English)
-
I pray that I never lose my curiosity, because that is the true safe harbor of intelligence.
-
The professor sounds a lot like Aldous Huxley.
-
Karl has a way of making me hate others around him.

Icke actually talking sense....

Karl is such a beautiful human being. Can't get enough of him!

@theboardie I completely agree with you. He's view point is seldom unwise. It's almost as if he is a genuine philosopher in a world of XXIst century sophistry.
Before I saw this, I stumbled on the first chapter of of Karlology and I thought that he had read Philosophy of Mind. I He sounded like Daniel Dennet. How interesting that Karl is considered an idiot and Daniel is considered one of the brightest minds of contemporary thought.
-
Yeah, but has his boiler been fixed yet?
He's not an idiot in my book. Part of his outlook seems to stem from having little education but I've always thought that the most idiotic people are the ones who're never curious about anything. Karl is vastly interested in the world around him and that makes him interesting as well.

@Thisnameistaken11 The ironic thing Taken, is that the guy who was more the fool than himself, gave him the most proper answer. The others werent really fucking bothered, the lady was too busy doing in that bread, the professor couldnt be arsed, and the big shot was too fucking full of himself.
