  • Ok I know there is a program that allows you to drag programs from windows to OS X and Linux and vice versa, I think it was called shift or something. Anyone know?

  • 4 years and NO updates on this project. Download Synergy +. It is done by different developers, but it is updated more often. Chris (the developer of this original Synergy project) said he was working on 2.0......but that was back in 2008. If ya'll want this same thing, but a program that is actually updated and a forum the handles bug support, check out Synergy +.

  • @spikeysam71 what you need to do is this: when you add "screens" under configuration, add one screen for each of your two computers. KEY: Make sure that the name of the screenis the same as the name you gave your computer when you set up Windows (e.g. "Sam's PC" or whatever.

  • I need it for my mouse. Only one USB mouse but dont have two screens instead I use a KBM switch and it lets me switch screens to another PC.

  • U stupid idiot! Of course it can!

  • Yeah...it works with all of em! Any combination!

  • Yes, you can use it between any 2 computers with the same OS. I use XP Home SP2 on my host computer and XP Home SP3 on the client computer. I've actually been having problems. When I go from my host computer to my client, the mouse on the client becomes very slow lags. I tried switching the two SP2 being the client and SP3 being the host, but the same thing happens...the mouse lags on the client still. Anyone else have problems with this?

  • can you use this with two windows systems?

or does it whave to be two totally different systems? mac / windows, ect

  • lol this is 6 months old but you have to add a screen name in the configure section of the server computer :]

  • Not at all....
