Yes, you can use it between any 2 computers with the same OS. I use XP Home SP2 on my host computer and XP Home SP3 on the client computer. I've actually been having problems. When I go from my host computer to my client, the mouse on the client becomes very slow lags. I tried switching the two SP2 being the client and SP3 being the host, but the same thing happens...the mouse lags on the client still. Anyone else have problems with this?

That's quiet interesting being able to use one mouse for two totally different computers. I'm not sure what I could use that for unless I couldn't afford a mouse :-) but it is an interesting thing to see.

maybe you don't have a lot of space for two keyboards and mouses.

i use three computers (one laptop 2 pc's) and it gets very crowded and confusing when dealing with 2 keyboards and 2 mice. try it.
