Unfortunately most people that go to these "shows" (also circuses, zoos etc) are kids taken by their parents as an amusement trip. And while a lot of people could defend this "You are teaching the kids to learn and take care of the nature", that's what national geographic and the like is for, period. Animals on their natural environments, not animals as slaves or amusement, even though most people fail to realize a simple fact as this.

Excellent point. The gits who make anti-PETA hate videos can use their passion and creativity for more constructive purposes like saving the animals instead!

I cried a bit when I saw the size of Tilikum's enclosure, and I watch this stuff so much I am a little desensitized (it all bothers me still, of course, I just don't cry as much as I did when I first understood the horror inflicted upon animals). I am ashamed of people today, and people should be ashamed of themselves; yet we watch people waste their time arguing AGAINST PETA rather than DO SOMETHING to get involved and stop these crimes. People are stubbornly ignorant BY CHOICE.
