Idol worship and fortune telling or making any kind of prediction about the future is strictly haraam both of which
are part of the tradition of Samhain along with the idea and practicing of spells etc
If anyone has anymore questions then you can ask in the comments
or if you just want to make a comment about the video itself then
:P you know i love comments dont you?

-also if i have made any errors please let me know

Due to the pagan origins of Halloween neither should Christians and Jews participate due to its roots

InshAllah you got the info you need to make an informed decision about weather or not to celebrate or not celebrate Halloween.

  • Salams hey i m deaf and muslim... i try to ask you do you mind reply me what clip say because i m really want to know what u say ... : ) : )

  • @growlwolf1 of course akhi =)

I will private message you what I was saying in the video

  • What about just giving out candy to the little kids that come to your house? Should we still give that out?

  • @BlweLotus People used to go door to door to ask for charity in this time

Others would view it as begging which the Prophet Muhammad pbuh disliked and discouraged

It was also said that people would give offerings of food to spirits at this time

So all in all Id say that if you are Muslim it would be best just to stay away from Halloween altogether

We should not encourage the practise although it does not mean to be rude to those who do it .

N hey we have Eid soon right? =) we have our moments

  • Being a Witch, you did good in getting a lot of this right. I thank you. Yet Samhain and Halloween are two different things.

Also, you did not condemn Samhain, just said that those of your faith and the other Monotheistic beliefs should know more about this, and not partake. That I can understand.

If we all have understanding, then it is a step toward Peace.

    May Peace be with you.

  • @WittyAS09 thank you for your comment =]

It is a relief to know that I got alot of my information right . I was a tad afraid that Id get something somewhere wrong and offend people.

I personally believe that everyone should be able to believe whatever they feel is right.

Theres no point in doing anything if your heart is not in it.

May we all exist in peace =)

    Ameen.

  • I wonder if you censor comments?

  • It's no more stupid than any other religion.

  • jazakula sister

  • Hello we just celebrated Halloween. Not that I wanted to but it has been the tradition of the family to celebrate Halloween or go to cementery(all saints day). I disagree with these celebration because of their pagan roots and are not Christian requirements I think. I'll turn 18 on nov. 5. Is it pagan to celebrate birthdays? Do Muslims celebrate their birthdays?

  • o.o so this is holloween

thankyou very much sister :D i always wanted to know

  • Great job sister.

  • IRELAND IS NOT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM! and the celts where from ireland scotland wales and ancient briton.

  • Accurate up to a point, though I'll pull you up on two things. Samhain probably older than two thousand years and the Celts didn't come from Ireland they migrated there along with Britian and France (or Gaul as it was then known). They were a loose confederacy of tribes and historians are still arguing about where precisley they came from.

  • make a related one like how its Haram to celebrate and be part of other religious events ?
