My strategy (and a very expensive one indeed) is to build airfields as parallel to the enemy base as possible and spam bombers, then fill them with infantry.
After that, ensuring they're on Hold ground stance, I send them across the enemy base, and then select aggressive.
All the bombers will drop their load, then I'll drop the infantry. Fun on campaign missions but stupid against human players, :P

one thing i like to do is a massive air campaign by splitting up the bombers to damage each building that the enemy will have to spend to repair them
